Applying

To apply for a translation grant, you must apply online via e-kulka application environment or submit a standard-format application by email to traducta@kulka.ee, adding the following:

• the volume of the work to be translated (character count for prose; word and line count for poetry)
• a copy of the contract between the foreign publisher of the translation and the holder of the copyright in the original work in Estonian
• a copy of the contract between the translator and the foreign publisher for publishing the translation
• an excerpt from the translation (up to 20 pages)
• the translator’s resume and list of published translations
